Our camp is devoted to helping children to ride, care
for, and understand horses in a fun and safety-oriented
setting.

- Two one hour riding
lessons daily
- On the first day
your child's riding
ability will be assessed
- The Camp Horse Show
is held on
the Friday afternoon of each camp
session. Parents, relatives and
friends are invited to attend.

- Horse breeds,
colours, & anatomy
- Grooming & preparing
the horse to ride
- Hoof care
- Feeding principles
- Horse handling
- Basic horse health &
first aid
- Care and cleaning of
tack (saddle & bridle)

CAMP HOURS: |
- 9:00am to 3:30pm
Monday through Friday (holidays included)
- Drop off between
8:30am and 9:00am
- Pick-up between
3:30pm and 4:00pm
- Early drop-off
and late pick-up may be
arranged

$350.00 per camp |

Approved helmets can
be rented |

Receipts are issued
for tax purposes
at the end of camp |

CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT: |
| For safety,
students must wear appropriate clothing while
working around and/or riding horses. This includes
footwear designed for riding i.e. paddock boots, long pants, and an
ASTM approved English riding helmet. You may find
a change of clothes, summer hats, sunscreen &
insect repellent useful. Bring your own lunches,
snacks & water bottle. |
